TWH Consulting Director Scott Wolven

Scott Wolven is TWH Consulting Director and Consulting Editor of High Frequency Press and The New Guard literary review. His new short story collection Hundred Proof is forthcoming in June, 2025 (HFP).

He is the author of the short story collection Controlled Burn. The title story was included in Best American Noir of the Century. His story “The Copper Kings” appears in 20+1, an anthology of 21 short stories “by emblematic American authors” (Albin Michel). His stories were selected for seven consecutive volumes of The Best American Mystery Stories Series and his story “Playboy” was featured in Playboy Magazine. He has published widely in online and print journals. He wrote on the TV series “Hightown” (STARZ /Bruckheimer) and his story “Hammerlock” (“Hepburn”) screened at the 52nd New York Film Festival.
