Michael Corsetti, TWH 2023 Directors Assistant
Michael Corsetti has long held an interest in creative writing and storytelling, but his original focus has been within the realm of academia. After earning his master’s degree in English from Villanova University, he worked as an adjunct instructor for several years, teaching writing skills to first-year college students. Michael eventually took on a series of administrator positions at various universities in the Northeast region, and currently works as an assistant university registrar at Yale. The advent of the pandemic made Michael realize it was time to pursue his goal of writing a novel. In Fall of 2020, he enrolled in a fiction course offered through the Westport Writers' Workshop, based in Connecticut. Over the last few months he has made great progress in drafting his very first manuscript, which is set in the mid-1960s Greenwich Village folk music scene.
