Martha Kalin’s poetry has appeared in Anastamos, Don't Just Sit There, Inklette, Panoply, San Pedro River Review, and in several anthologies including Obsession: Sestinas in the Twenty-First Century published by University Press of New England, Wild Gods: The Ecstatic in Contemporary Poetry and Prose from New Rivers Press and An Uncertain Age: Poems by Bold Women of a Certain Age from Ink Sisters Press. She’s won a Hopwood Award from University of Michigan, American Poets Honorary Prize from Brandeis University and has received several fellowships from Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her poetry collection, How to Hold a Flying River won the 2019 Terry J. Cox poetry award and was published in August 2020 by Regal House Publishing.
