Gary Seigel, TWH 2025 Directors Assistant (Fiction )

Gary Seigel’s debut novel, Haskell Himself, came out in 2020 from Acorn Press, and he’s recently completed a standalone sequel, The Undergraduate. Currently retired and living in South Pasadena, California, Gary earned his PhD in English from Rutgers University and served as a full-time professor with the Los Angeles Community College system before giving up academia to start one of the first franchises of California Closets. More recently, he worked as a corporate trainer for Kaiser Permanente and as a speaker, traveling the globe, teaching business professionals how to write emails that don’t get them into trouble. His book The Mouth Trap: Strategies, Tips, and Secrets for Keeping Your Foot Out of Your Mouth, published in 2008 by Career Press, is currently being revised for a 21st century blunder-free workplace.
